MEANING of training
Training is the process by which the
efficiency of salesman can be sharpen. so that they can
work more efficiently.

1. Apprenticeship Training
This type of training is given by Dr. Chancres.
Experience salesman give the training to trainees.
The candidates have to sell product by themselves.
Check the worker doing work accordingly or not.
2.Training by educational nstitutes
This is the traditional type of training.
The experts provides lectures in their own field of
expertise.
In this type proper theoretical knowledge given to the
candidates.
There arte some educational institution are there
which provide training to salesman.
3.Training by special classes
In this method theoretical as well as practical
knowledge provide to candidates.
The institution can provide the related training at a
convenient time , place as agreed beforehand.
This method give the importance to films, charts,
samples etc.
4.By postal service
Many institutions provide training through postal
service.
The candidates are sent study material weekly ,
quarterly, or monthly.
The experts appointed by institution will check the
answers and then provide necessary guidance.
5.Business Material
Like the postal correspondence , this system also use
the post services to send business material.
In this method also, salesman can get training as per
his own convenience , while staying on job.
There is lack of practical training in this method.
6.Sales conferences
Sales conferences are organized to discuss about
various aspects of sales.
In the conference all the salesman remains present.
The salesman form a small group to discuss about the
topic.
7. By sales seminar
Sales seminars are also organized to discuss about
sales theories, concepts and practices.
The topics to be discussed are not decide well in
advance.
The seminars can be made more interesting by sales
seminars.
