But
Management education in India may be taken dates
back to the 1960’s with the foundation of (IIM-A).
The first well known theory of management is Scientific
Theory of Management introduced by F.W. Taylor (1856-
1915).
Latter on a number of theory of management have been
developed by many school of thoughts, like. Principle of
Management by Henri Fayol (1841-1925), Theory of
Motivation by Elton Mayo (1880-1949), etc. have
contributed for the same.

Business education also aims at creating new
personality to create bucket of jobs.
It emphasis on creating livelihood contrary to getting
