Fast v Slow twitch muscle fibers
All or none Sarcomeres either shorten, or they don’t. Once threshold level reached, Ion channels open, sarcolemma depolarization occurs, sarcomere contraction. Varying numbers of fibers can be depolarized for varying tension results
