  1. 1. Nit-Occlud® PFO and Intracardiac Echocardiography - case report - • Male, 40 y, white, w/ hypertension and previous transient ischemic attack • Physic exam: no abnormalities • Echocardiography: - presence of patent foramen ovale (0,2 cm) with high grade left to right atrium shunt and micro bubbles echo showed very important atrial shunting (>25 bubbles) - aneurysmatic atrial septum • Referred to CathLab (Hospital Carlos Chagas – São Paulo, Brazil) to percutaneous procedure. Performed successfully using two right venous femoral punctures (5F and 8F) and intracardiac echocardiogram.
