  9. Why Modern Workplace Learning?: 4 more reasons No longer such thing as a job for life means that as working lives become longer and people have many more jobs in their working life, the need for lifelong and continuous learning will increase Information Explosion & Decay means that individuals will need to be constantly replacing out-of-date knowledge with new knowledge in a continuous process of unlearning and learning Automation means that although some jobs will be replaced, many more will be changed in some way, so individuals will need new skills to remain employable, and organisations will need people with the relevant skills to remain competitive in their market. The post-Covid workplace will require new ways of working and learning. Remote workers enjoy much more flexibility and autonomy and they will be looking to retain these benefits in the future 9 Here are more reasons why a modern approach to workplace learning is now required. © C4LPT,2020
