SUPPLIERS OR WHOLESALERS.
This is a “one and done” decision. Find a Black-owned supplier or
manufacturer of items you sell that’s a good fit and use them

PRODUCTS/SERVICES.
You know your routine. There are some errands that are staples in
our lives whether it's a monthly oil change, weekly dry cleaning,

3. VOLUNTEER WITH A BLACK-OWNED
NON-PROFIT.
Time is money- and hiring someone can get costly. Volunteer with a
Black-owned organization. Offer your expertise to a panel. Ask
where you'd be best served. Get the family involved. Make it a family
weekend outing -with a cause.
4. CHOOSE AN ORGANIZATION TO
FUND EACH MONTH.
If you don't have the time to spend, send money. It can be as little as
$25/month. It helps a worthwhile cause. It’s tax deductible. It’s
supporting your community. That’s a WIN-WIN-WIN!
5. HOST MEETINGS AT A BLACK-
OWNED BUSINESS.
Have your client meet you for coffee at a Black-owned cafe.
Host your next book club meeting at a Black-owned restaurant.
This knocks out 2 birds with one stone! When you and your
guest order drinks WHAM, you’ve supported a BOB...twice!
6. REDIRECT COMPANY CHARITABLE
GIVING.donations to non-profit
Many corporations give charitable
organizations. Usually it’s an employee who recommends which
organization. Why not suggest a black owned organization to give
these funds? Find out how your company operates and suggest a Black
non-profit organization.
7. CREATE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS.
Collaborate with Black-owned businesses in a way that will
benefit both parties. Create strategic partnerships- symbiotic
relationships.
8. USE A BLACK-OWNED BUSINESS ON
VACATION.
There are TONS of Black-owned hotels and resorts around the
world! Find a hotel or resort and plan your trip around it. Try

9. PURCHASE GIFTS FROM BLACK
OWNED BUSINESSES.
Birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays come around all the
time. Commit to using a Black-owned bakery for your next
birthday party. Try a Black-owned store to buy all your holiday
cards for your family. Get creative!
10. START A BLACK OWNED BUSINESS!
There’s no other surefire way of supporting a Black-owned
business than starting one! A good one will attract customers
(to support). As a business owner are inherently creating
supporters.
