Defining the Use of Codes of Ethics

 •   Codes a formalization of corporate values or practices designed to guide
     the behavior of businesses.
 •   Codes as an aspirational strategy geared towards demonstrating how
     corporations should behave.
 •   Primary objective of codes is to serve the public health and in so doing,
     generate profits.
