We are excited to be able to provide internship positions for Oakland youth here within the
City of Oakland this summer through the Classrooms2Careers program. Your support of this
program over the past years is very much appreciated, and we are looking forward to
another rewarding summer as we begin to transition and expand our efforts into a year-
round program.
Classrooms2Careers, previously known as the Mayor’s Summer Job Program, provides
Oakland youth with the opportunity to experience the world of work, earn money, build
quality employment experiences and receive on-the-job training that will add to their skill
set as self- supporting adults.
