Creative Futures International Fellowship with Creative Scotland is seeking applications from Spanish emerging cultural practitioners for a full-time paid fellowship placement in 2012. The fellowship will involve working with Creative Scotland on a project team under the guidance of a Portfolio Manager, with a focus on professional development tailored to the fellow's interests and needs. Previous international fellows have focused on the Creative Futures program, EU funding, and events/projects in communications. The fellowship is flexible up to 1 year, and Creative Scotland will provide up to £18,000 to cover living costs depending on duration. professional development, vision, connectivity and ambitions of S cotland s creative practitioners and organisations. It
comprises residencies that are single discipline, interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral and international, and aims at building

As part of the Creative Futures programme, we will award its third International Fellowship to a Spanish emerging
cultural practitioner during 2012. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with very good English skills and a
strong interest in the Scottish cultural landscape.
The Fellowship consists of a full-time placement with Creative Scotland and will offer the Fellow the opportunity to be
part of a project team under the direct guidance of a Portfolio Manager. One of the main focuses of the Fellowship, as
part of the Creative Futures programme, is professional development. Within this framework, we would develop the
Fellowship s learning goals and tailor them to the Fellow s particular needs.
Creative Scotland s first International Fellow came from Romania and worked on the Creative Futures programme and
EU funding. This year s Austrian International Fellow s focus is on events and projects within the communications
team. The range of projects undertaken by the third Fellow will depend on his/her areas of interest within and beyond
the organisation.
The duration of the Fellowship is flexible and can last up to 1 year. Creative Scotland would award a grant up to the
maximum amount of £18,000 to cover the living costs on site, depending on duration.
