after the hit of these disasters, as well as the nuclear impact which greatly affected
the Toyota Motors, including its supply chain.

Nevertheless, the Toyota was able to regain its success, due to prudent application
of supply chain and the enhancement of logistics in its processes. Toyota still got
the one of the highest ranking company in terms of income, it is still confronted with
risks and challenging its supply chain but it is still used by other industries.
Toyota Motors:
This company is regarded as an international business and a major supplier of
huge automobile across the world, in terms of income and production; it is
regarded as one of the largest company. Toyota Motors was established in 1937,
the business is consistently innovating and founded by strategic team cooperation,

Supply Chain:
A supply chain refers to a pattern of items, wherein people, businesses and team
will be transported from a specific origin down to the customers. Input resources

Characteristics of having an improved and effective supply chain included the

Service Areas served by Supply Chain Management
The increasing demands of the 21st century necessitate the business to partner its
techniques with speed and hitting the timeline. Many businesses compete with
each other in order to provide clients with products on time before their respective
competitors. Having a well-planned supply chain allows companies to cut
expenses, and increase the probability of getting bigger income, this concept was
slowly recognized by a lot of managers and how it can positively affect their
businesses. Businesses are distributing advance technologies, and resources in
order to follow their respective supply chain. The inability to hit the target time can
be a reason of sales loss and getting small revenue. The achiever in the
competition is the one who is the fastest to provide the customers with the products
they needed. Fast delivery gives client’s satisfaction, and gives good name to the
company.
Toyota’s Supply Chain:
The supply chain being used by Toyota incorporates the will to satisfy the
demands of the customers. In this supply chain, different aspect are greatly
needed, these are the producers, distributors of supply, transporters, storage,
retailers as well as the clients.
The company has applied an innovative way of managing the supply chai8n by
choosing the best suppliers, specifically those who put up the components, close
cooperation with business partners. Right after the crisis experienced by the
company, Toyota is thinking if single sourcing is no longer effective in the business.
Improving the supply chain is a helpful idea in order for the company to effectively
manage it. But they have to consider the idea of the supply chain being broken, like
4. what had happened when a disaster/calamity hit Japan. They have to consider the
loss of capital in times like this (Blanchard, 2011, p. 45)?
It will be a lot more comfortable, to come up with different partners in order to
lessen the risk of losing profit.
Toyota, has adopted the strategies of other industries in Japan, separating the
supply chain from the usual operation. Suppliers are perceived to be little but they
are stylist and equipped people that are very important in the supply chain. The
supply chain of said company considers timeline, reliability and on time delivery of
goods. This is a factor wherein the clients are satisfied with the business of Toyota.
Toyota applied innovation in the supply-chain strategies of car industry by clearing
the suppliers as the sole origin of components that can give an intimate partnership
with the other businesses. Through this, the company as well as its suppliers was
able to accomplish quality output and prompt delivery to their assembly facilities
(Marksberry, 2012, p. 279).
A technique which has been applied in order to upgrade the trust and partnership
with the suppliers has been accommodated by Japanese management and was
fully recognized during the latter part of 1980s. Japanese techniques focus on a
