About José Estabil has spent 20+ years translating technologies into businesses. As director of entrepreneurship and innovation for MIT’s Skolkovo and Portugal programs, José is helping to launch the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology in Moscow, a school the size of Cal-Tech. He is also co-founder of a € 1M Venture Competition sponsored by the government of Portugal with an associated Business Accelerator in Boston. Prior to joining MIT, José helped launch new technologies at tau-Metrix, KLA-Tencor, and IBM in the US, and for Schlumberger Limited in Tokyo, Japan.
