Truth is a verified fact
Truth is clear and not distorted
Truth is has no agenda
Truth is an attitude

Fear causes us to sin and to look out for “me”

swear falsely. I hate all this,” declares the LORD.

9. Our Nation Depends On Truth
Jeremiah 7:28-29
This is the nation that has not obeyed the
LORD its God or responded to correction.
Truth has perished;
it has vanished from their lips.
Cut off your hair and throw it away;
take up a lament on the barren heights,
for the LORD has rejected and abandoned this
generation that is under his wrath.

10. The Nature Of Satan
Satan is the father of lies...
He will whisper a lie in your ear
He repeats that lie over and over again
He repeats them frequently
He makes accusations against us
He uses fear, uncertainty and doubt to drives us
He wants us to settle out of court

God wants what’s best for us
God wants us to listen and obey him
God wants to bless us
God speaks truth with a “small voice”
God may only tell you once
God always speaks the truth

12. The Faith/Truth Connection
“Faith is being sure of what we hope for and
certain of what we do not see.” - Hebrews 11:1
Faith means that we believe God.
Hebrews 11 tells about a whole bunch of people
who believed God and were blessed because of it.
They saw the unseen become reality.
It is a testament to God’s faithfulness.

We are called to testify about this truth

A good witness puts themselves
in a position to see and remember clearly
A good witness recites the events faithful and true
A good witness reveals the truth

15. Hebrews 12:1
Therefore, since we are surrounded by
such a great cloud of witnesses,
let us throw off everything that hinders
and the sin that so easily entangles,
and let us run with perseverance
the race marked out for us.

You will have accusations pressed against you
People will try to twist your words or events
Things will get really confusing and twisted
Put yourself in a position to be a witness to the truth
Do what is right, trust and believe in God
Don’t be afraid, God is the judge
