Help end pet over-population!
By spaying or neutering your pet,
you can help to prevent unwanted
animals who might not find homes.
Plus, the surgery also reduces cancer
risk and helps your pet live a longer,
healthier, happier life!
All adoptable animals at PAWSH have had
their surgery and are ready to go home today!

All animals are up-to-date on required shots, though
puppies and kittens may require boosters:

8. Free Wellness Checkup
Once your new best buddy is home, call any
vet in Tucson (within 2 business days) to
schedule a free wellness checkup for your pet!
Simply mention that
your pet was
adopted from the
Humane Society
when you make the
appointment.
9. Cat & Dog Food
You will also receive a free bag of Science Diet
food for your new pet – the same kibble
they’ve been eating here at HSSA.

history, personality, and special needs
2. Fill out an Adoption Profile at the desk
3. Spend some time with your potential pet
4. Chat with a staffer to make sure the
animal is a good match
5. Sign your adoption contract

17. Volunteering
HSSA relies on hundreds of volunteers to
keep the shelter running! “Lend a paw” by:
Walking dogs
Socializing cats
Offsite adoptions
Vaccination clinic
(Volunteers must be 15 years old or older.
Children under 15 may volunteer with a parent.)
18. Foster a Litter
Foster parents provide care for animals who are
not yet ready for adoption. This may include
nursing litters and pets recovering from surgery.
We provide
veterinary care and
expert advice, and
you provide a loving
home!
19. Sponsor an Animal
Your family, business, or school can sponsor
an adoptable pet and help with its
adoption fee!
