1. Login to SAP HANA and create users
1.1. Launch SAP GUI and double click on ‘BW740 HANA’ to login to SAP BW.
1.2. Enter Username and Password and click on Enter button.

1.3. Create a user BPC1 having two roles as shown below with the help of t-
code SU01.
1.4. Using the same t-code SU01, create a user BPC2 having two roles as
highlighted in the below screenshot.

2. Login to BPC with BPC1 user
2.1. Launch the BPC screen and login with the BPC1 user.

2.2. The user will be asked to change the password. Change the password
and click on ‘Change’.

______________________________________________________________
2.3. The below shown warning message will be displayed as the BPC1 user is
not authorized to perform any activity. Click on ‘Ok’ button in the warning
window.

3. Login to BPC with BPC2 user
3.1. Launch the BPC screen and login with BPC2 user.

______________________________________________________________
3.2. The user will be asked to change the password. Enter the new password
and click on ‘Change’ to login.

______________________________________________________________
3.3. The same warning message will be displayed as the BPC2 user doesn’t
have access to perform any action. Click on ‘Ok’ button.

4. Login to BPC with admin user to add BPC1 user
4.1. Login to BPC with the BPC admin user. Enter the Username, Password
and click on the Logon button.

______________________________________________________________
4.2. Click on the environment link as shown below to connect to the
ENV075_DEV environment.
4.3. The below warning message will be displayed before we connect to the
ENV075_DEV environment. Click on ‘Continue’ to proceed.

4.4. Select the ENV075_DEV environment from the list and select ‘Connect’
button to connect to the environment.

4.5. The ENV075_DEV environment gets connected as shown below. Click on
the ‘Planning and Consolidation Administration’ link from the Launch section
of the Home page.

4.1. Add the BPC1 user created in SAP HANA
4.1.1. Click on ‘Users’ option under Security section in Administration
workspace. Then click on ‘Add’ button to add the user.

4.1.2. Select the ‘BPC1’ user and click on ‘Add’ button to add the user under
Selected Users section on right side.

4.1.3. Click on ‘Next’ button to proceed further after adding the BPC1 user to
the Selected Users section.

4.2. Assign BPC1 user to the Admin team
4.2.1. Select the ‘ADMIN’ option to add the user to Admin team. Click on ‘Add’
button to add ADMIN into ‘Selected Teams’ section.

4.2.2. Click on ‘Next’ button when the ‘ADMIN’ is added to the Selected
Teams section.
4.2.3. Click on ‘Finish’ to complete the process of adding user to the
environment and to the team.

4.2.4. Click on ‘Close’ button in the last step.
4.2.5. The BPC1 user is displayed in the users list as shown below.

4.2.6. Click on log off symbol to logout from the BPC window.
4.2.7. Click on ‘Ok’ in Log Off window.

4.3. Login to BPC with BPC1 user to verify admin privileges
4.3.1. Login to BPC with the BPC1 user to verify the provided access to
ENV075_DEV environment having admin privileges.
4.3.2. The BPC1 user got access to the ENV075_DEV environment.

4.3.3. Click on the ’Planning and Consolidation Administration’ link from the
Launch section of the Start Page.
4.3.4. Click on ‘Manage All Environments’ button at top right corner of the
Administration workspace to see the list of environments.
4.3.5. The BPC1 user has the admin access to manage the ‘ENV075_DEV’
environment and can perform various activities like Copy, Delete, Change
Status, etc for the ENV075_DEV environment.

4.3.6. Click on Log Off symbol.
4.3.7. Click on ‘Ok to logout of the BPC screen.

5. Login to BPC with admin user to add BPC2 user
5.1. Click on the environment link to connect to the ENV075_DEV2
environment.

5.2. Select the ENV075_DEV2 environment and click on the ‘Connect’ button.
5.3. Click on the ’Planning and Consolidation Administration’ link to access the
BPC web admin.

______________________________________________________________
5.1. Add BPC2 user created in SAP HANA
5.1.1. Click on ‘Users’ option under Security in the Administration workspace.
Then click on ‘Add’ button to add the user.

5.1.2. Select ‘BPC2’ user from the Users section and click on ‘Add’ button to
add the user to the Selected Users section.

5.1.3. Click on ‘Next’ button once the user is available in Selected Users
section.
5.2. Assign BPC2 user to the Admin team
5.2.1. Select the ‘ADMIN’ team and click on ‘Add’ button to add it to the
Selected Teams section.

5.2.2. Click on ‘Next’ button to proceed for the next step.
5.2.3. Click on ‘Finish’ button to complete the process.

5.2.4. Click on ‘Close’ button.
5.3. Add BPC2 user to the environment ENV075_DEV3
5.3.1. Click on ‘Home’ tab.

5.3.2. Click on the environment link to change the environment to
ENV075_DEV3.
5.3.3. Click on ‘Continue’ in the Warning window to continue with the process
of changing the environment.

5.3.4. Select the ENV075_DEV3 environment and click ‘Connect’ to connect
to the selected environment.

______________________________________________________________
5.3.5. Environment ENV075_DEV3 is connected as shown below. Click on
‘Planning and Consolidation Administration’ link.

5.3.6. Navigate to the Users option under Security and click on ‘Add’ button to
add the user.

5.3.7. Select the ‘BPC2’ user and click on ‘Add’ button to add the user to the
Selected Users area.
5.3.8. Click on ‘Next’ once the user is displayed under Selected Users area.

5.3.9. Select the ‘ADMIN’ and click on ‘Add’ button to add it to the Selected
Teams area.

5.3.10. Select the ‘Next’ button once the ‘ADMIN’ team is displayed in the
Selected Teams section.
5.3.11. In step3 click on ‘Finish’ button.

5.3.12. Click on ‘Close’ to complete the process.
5.3.13. Click on Log Off symbol.
5.3.14. Click on to log out from BPC.

5.4. Login to BPC with BPC2 user and verify access for environments
5.4.1. Login to BPC with BPC2 user.
5.4.2. Click on ‘Planning and Consolidation Administration’ link to access the
BPC web interface.
5.4.3. Click on ‘Manage All Environments’ button.

______________________________________________________________
5.4.4. The user BPC2 has the access to both the environments
ENV075_DEV2 and ENV075_DEV3 with the admin access. This user can
perform various tasks such as Copy Environment, Changing status of the
environment etc.
