My ideas for my music video.

2. IDEA 1 – I WANT YOU TO -
WEEZER
It opens with a couple walking along the beach and it shows the first time they fall for each other. it then jump
cuts to them in a park walking about as if on a date in the park. It then jumps to them being awkward and it
shows them having their first kiss. This is because most people can relate to the awkwardness of their first
kiss and it is a realistic representation of a relationship. It will also flash between that and a performance of
the band. It then jump cuts to the couple together doing couple things together, such as going out together,
staying in watching titanic, and messing around in supermarkets. It them jump cuts to them both at a dinner
table with the girls mum and dad. After that it is the couple watching TV with the girls parents. then the guy
proposes and there is a montage of different planning things. Then at the bridge of the song, the guy is
singing to the girl, mixing performance with the narrative, showing the song relates to the video. Then there is
a other montage edit of the good things that have happened to the couple and then at the end fades out with
the couple back together. I like this idea because I think the lyrics have a good narrative and the video can
quite easily relate to the lyrics.

3. IDEA 2 – KINGS AND QUEENS – 30
SECONDS TO MARS
It would open up with an old style TV, with the static black and white on the screen. It would then click on to
a channel when the music starts, the bands leading member comes on to the screen in an old style TV shows
clothes and begins to lip sync the song. The channel will then keep changing and go through years of different
TV shows until the modern day TV shows. With this I could use two different types of TV shows, either soap
operas or dramas, or I could use things like talk shows. Some of the shows I could feature are:
- The Today show
-Gun smoke
-Perry Mason
-Coronation Street
- The Brady Bunch
- Sesame street
- The price is right
- Friends
- Game of thrones
The us eof these TV shows will allow me to show the narrative of the song through the use of famous TV
shows and famous moments in TV.

4. IDEA 3 – FOO FIGHTERS – WALK
It would open up with a man getting beaten up by another guy that looks like
a thug and then jump cuts to the beginning of the day, where we see his day
starting with his girlfriend leaving him. He then realises that his car has been
clamped and has multiple parking tickets. After this, his day gets progressively
worse until he gets so angry that the smallest things are annoying him, and
when a thug threatens him, he looses it and starts shouting at the thug and
then gets attacked by the thug and the thug runs off. But the man doesn’t get
up until a woman comes to help him and they both get a long instantly
because they have both had bad days.
