2. Activity I enjoy doing is:
Photography

3. Photography
I enjoy bringing my camera out, exploring different parts of the world,
and taking pictures to remember.

4. Background
 During my visit to South Korea in 2006, I found
an old album from my grandmother’s house. The
album belonged to my grandfather who passed
away years ago.
 It was filled with many black & white photos of the
family, including childhood of my mother and her siblings,
 Pictures of him and his pupils in classrooms, field trips,
and graduations (he was a high school teacher/principal),
and
 Photos of him travelling different parts of the world
during school vacations when he was young and healthy
The pictures not only brought me back fond memories of him,
but also allowed me to see the part of my grandfather I had
never known:
Passion, Youth, and…
Filled with Life
Photos allow memories to last for generations

5.  Ever since I saw the grandfather’s album, I started to take pictures more often.
My Activity
My camera became:
 my EYES that see the world in a different angle
 my VOICE that tells stories and describe emotions in the moment, whether it is
special or not, all equally precious.

6. Besides the fact that photography is a personally enriching activity for me, I
find it helps me develop skills I can apply in professional setting:

what seems simple and obvious
