2. OET’s Withdrawal Policies
Is your exam scheduled on or before August 2018? Or, is it set on or after September 2018? The
referral policies for these two periods are different due to the OET update on September 2018. So,
consider your test date.
If your test is on or before August 2018
You can withdraw your test application and get a refund for it…
o …up to the closing of applications of your test date. Log into your online
candidate profile and select “withdraw.” There’s an administration fee of AUD 120,
which will be taken from your refund.
o …after the closing of applications of your test date. Just go to your OET
online candidate profile and select “withdraw.” There’s an administration fee of
AUD 200, which will be taken from your refund.
o …up to two business days before your test date. Since OET tests are usually
scheduled on a Saturday or Sunday, the request needs to be filed on the
Wednesday before the exam. The procedure for withdrawing is the same as those
