1. The TYM test is a new 10-item questionnaire that evaluates cognitive function in patients with chronic pain. It assesses 10 cognitive domains and has shown good validity and reliability in previous studies.
2. This study analyzed the psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the TYM test in 254 chronic pain patients from three pain origins and 72 control subjects.
3. The results showed the TYM test has good internal consistency and the scores correlated positively with other cognitive tests and quality of life measures, and negatively with anxiety, depression, and poor sleep. This supports the construct validity of the TYM test.
