2. COVID-19 en het voedselsysteem: observaties
 Europese voedselsysteem is goed draaiend gebleven (in 3e wereld landen veel meer ellende)
 Wegvallende afzet in specifieke sectoren: bloemen (1e lock down), food-service / horeca en toeleveranciers
in daarop gerichte sectoren als frites-aardappelen, kalfsvlees
 En goede zaken voor supermarkten, korte ketens
 Nertsen extreem gevoelig voor Covid-19 virus: volledige ruiming in NL (en Dk), verhevigt discussie over
intensieve veehouderij.
 Rol van luchtvervuiling ?
 Personen met leefstijl en voedsel gerelateerde klachten (obesitas etc.) bovenmatig op IC
 Spotlight op arbeids- en verblijfsomstandigheden (en omvang) immigranten (slachterijen etc).
 Economische crisis: V, U, W, L, I, K vorm? Politieke consequenties (populistische regimes)

 Groen uit de crisis (Rli), Green Deal: een jaren 50 wederopbouw programma
 Modernisering rond klimaatopgave met moderne techniek (ICT en robots)
 Het Covid-10 sociale experiment leert dat overheid wel degelijk gedrag kan doen veranderen
 Dat helpt in eiwit-transitie: hoog btw percentage op veel (dierlijk) voedsel
 (Gezondheids)apps en thuiswerken worden normaal: revival van het platteland ??
 Overheid creëert de institutionele omgeving voor beter datamanagement (datakluisjes?)
