 Non-contributors  usually define

 what they have acquired in life (e.g.
  qualifications, position,
 years of experience, etc.). This is a static
  identity, based on
 your past glories or past failures. This static
  identity leaves
 you trapped in history

  • 2. 2 Contributor Identity  “who am I?”  Non-contributors and Contributors define themselves differently.  Contributors choose ‘Dynamic Identity’.  Non- Contributors have ‘Static Identity’.
  • 3. 3 Static Identity  Non-contributors usually define themselves in terms of  what they have acquired in life (e.g. qualifications, position,  years of experience, etc.). This is a static identity, based on  your past glories or past failures. This static identity leaves  you trapped in history
  • 4. 4 Traits of a Static Person: Qualifications and Awards  Onlythinks about himself and his personal goals or achievements
  • 5. 5 Power and Position  Boastfulabout his power and position, using his power and position only for himself.
  • 6. 6 Past Achievement  Pridefor his past achievement and hence losing focus on his current goals.
  • 7. 7 Knowledge Gained  Boundedby the knowledge gained by him.
  • 8. 8 Dynamic Person  Contributors define themselves in terms of what they will  become or accomplish (e.g. capacity to deliver, commitment  and ownership of the organization’s purpose, etc.). This is  a dynamic identity based on your “being” and “becoming”.  Such an identity lets you choose to live a better future.
  • 9. 9 Traits of a Dynamic Person The difference I can make to the world  Actsresponsible not only towards him, but also to the people around him.
  • 10. 10 The responsibility I carry  He is the one to make the difference to the world with his power or knowledge.

  • 20. 20  Static Behaviors:  Dynamic Behaviors:  Z does not offer his reserved seat to the needy ones (eg. To old aged people).  Not helping people, even when he could have.
  • 21. 21 Conclusions: X has a dynamic identity.  We learnt that, even though you work for a limited period, work efficiently.  Help out the people around you and make the difference.
  • 22. 22 Y has a dynamic identity:  We learn how to impart the knowledge possessed by one to the others.  Devote time to the people to whom you can help.  Contribute not only to yourself but also to the institution and its welfare.
  • 23. 23 Z has a static identity:  His unhelpful behavior creates inconvenience to the passengers on the bus.  If you are in possession of some authority or power, help the people around you.

  • 25. 25 Answers:-  Person X  I would do my best in my field even though I am not well educated.  Person Y I have completed my education by getting Masters Degree and I will try my best output to institute.  Person Z I am fed up of my job, doing just for the sake of doing it.

  • 27. 27 Answers:-  Person X  I would like to obey all given orders & follow them & I would like to be advised.  Person Y  I will find out the best solutions for the problems but as per my time convenience and concern all regarding any worthy advice.  Person Z I would not like anyone to advice me, I can take my decisions on my own without anyone’s help.
