MOBILITY OF ARCHITECTURE

 Mobility of architecture or kinetic architecture is a
concept where buildings are designed so that significant
portions can move while retaining structural integrity.
 Architecture evolved in the belief that the static,
permanent forms of traditional architecture were no
longer suitable for use in times of major change. Kinetic
architecture was supposed to be dynamic, adaptable,
capable of being added to or reduced, and even
  disposable.
 It increased sharply in the late 19th century with
developments in mechanics, electronics and robotics
  opening up new architectural possibilities.
MOBILITY OF ARCHITECTURE
                              HISTORY
 In the early 19th century the
                               architects began to widely discuss
                               the possibility for movement to
                               be enabled for a significant
                               portion of a buildings
                               superstructure. Mr. Chernikhov
of 19th century was the first
constructive architects and graphic designers. And he was
Greatly interested in futurist movements and made many form
of moving architecture such as the DRAWBRIDGE can be traced
in that period.
MOBILITY OF ARCHITECTURE
  HISTORY

The Millennium Stadium was one of
the first European stadiums to have
a sliding roof, The first is for
functional buildings such as bridges
which can elevate their mid-
sections to allow tall ships to pass.

well regarded example of this, and it also
has a functional aspect in that its movement
allows it to shade the crowds from the sun or
                                        protect them from storms.
MOBILITY OF HOUSE
HISTORY

In the many country, in ninety's,
movement of house in early years
 done by cars and motorized
highway travel. It was derived from
 the Travel trailers and caravans
which may be little more than a
tent on wheels to those containing
 several rooms. They are used
 principally in Europe, North
 America, Australia, and New
 Zealand and are rare elsewhere.
 This techniques done for peoples
 whose lifestyle required mobility.
MOBILITY OF HOUSE

 MOBILE HOUSE is picking the house up from its foundation and setting
  it down in another spot.
 In this process, homes were designed in rectangular shape, somehow
inexpensive and made from pre-painted aluminum panels. Such units
could be moved simply with a car or professional trucks by the special
moving permit from a state highway department.

 Before this steps,we have to
                                          know the following
                                          information correctly:
 The width, length and height of
                                         your home and
 How the house was built,
                                         which will help to determine
                                         how much the home might
                                         weigh.
MOBILITY OF HOUSE

   PREPARATION AND INSTALLATION:
 To prepare the house for a move, all the utilities must be
disconnected, which may require the services of a plumber or an
    electrician.
 House movers need at least 10 feet of room around the house for
excavation, so dig out any trees that you don't want bulldozed. The
mover will dig down around the foundation and cut openings in the
    foundation walls.
 Moving is done by unified hydraulic
    jacking system which allows the
home to remain level in process of
    carrying.
 When the house arrives in new
    location, it's foundation is poured.
After that house has the same
    structural integrity as when the
    process started.

                     dubbed the
                     Flake house.
 This innovative nomadic home design was meant for
moving. Its two-part construction means easy assembly,
and is described as, “A poetic shelter; a „folie‟ that merges
  low-tech and hi-tech.”
 Interiors are simple, “smooth and stripped down to
traditional look of the external log cladding,”
SLIDING HOUSE

                                          It designed by

MOVABLE WALL
 Moveable walls have become todays
most mobile and flexible wall system
as their secret is making it possible
to divide one room into several
                                  different ones.
 By creating this we divide various
little corners or dividing room into
                                  different rooms with different
                                  functions

 Using moveable walls you can
  separate one room into various
small rooms or big spacious room
  by time to time.
MOVABLE TOILET
                                         The mobile toilet trailers,
                                          manufactured for deployed in fairs,
                                          rallies, outdoor functions and events,
                                          where there are no permanent
                                          toilets.
 The moving toilet trailers can be
moved from one place to another.
These are easy to maintain and have
                                          all the requisite facilities.

 Portable toilets are self contained
  toilets that do not require
  plumbing hook-ups. They are
  commonly used in campers, in
  campgrounds and in simple
  outback cabins.
MOVABLE TOILET

 ADVANTAGE:
(1)Saving water: Up to 99% comparing with
  general water flushing toilets.
(2)No stink: The toilet is clean, hygienic and
resistant to the spread of germs.
  (3)Resisting freeze and high temperature.
  (4)No noise pollution.
 How Portable Toilets Works
A portable toilet is used in a similar way as a conventional house toilet
is used. The toilet flushes after use and carries waste away. The waste
is carried to the holding tank. Inside the holding tank are chemicals
that deodorize waste and break down solid waste and toilet paper.
 MAINT            ;
Before a portable toilet is used, chemicals and water must be
added to the holding tank. When the movable toilet is no longer
being used or when the toilet is full, it must be emptied in dump
   station.
ROTATING TOWER
 One of the Dynamically moving modern
Buildings are known as ROTATING TOWER
    having movement to life.
 It is in Dubai of 80-floor skyscraper made by
architects Davis Fisher marks the first
    continuously moving construction in world.
 Each floor will rotate a maximum of 6 metres
per minute, or one full rotation in 90 minutes.
 90 percent of the building will be prefabricated
and assembled on a central core.
 Considering that each floor of the tower
    consists of factory-made modules.
 ADVANTAGE
It has been calculated that up to 20% cost savings
compared to those of traditional building methods
by assemblage (rather than construction),and
time-saving, well-organized sequences feathers.
ROTATING TOWER
 This rotating tower , which will be
constantly in motion changing its shape,
will be able to generate electric energy
for itself as well as for other buildings.
  Having wind turbines fitted between
each rotating floors as well as the solar
panels will produce energy from wind
and the sunlight, with no risk of pollution.
 it will be possible to customize individual
  apartments according to owners' needs
  and style.

 These buildings will be a green power
plant, and will therefore change the
skyline of cities not only due to their
Dynamic Shape, but mainly as they may
finally help us to enjoy nature, and to see
  the sun through clean air.

  • 1. CONCEPT OF MOBILITY OF HOUSE AND ARCHITECTURE Sadanand kumar Barch/1001/09 Semester-iv
  • 2. MOBILITY OF ARCHITECTURE  Mobility of architecture or kinetic architecture is a concept where buildings are designed so that significant portions can move while retaining structural integrity.  Architecture evolved in the belief that the static, permanent forms of traditional architecture were no longer suitable for use in times of major change. Kinetic architecture was supposed to be dynamic, adaptable, capable of being added to or reduced, and even disposable.  It increased sharply in the late 19th century with developments in mechanics, electronics and robotics opening up new architectural possibilities.
  • 3. MOBILITY OF ARCHITECTURE HISTORY  In the early 19th century the architects began to widely discuss the possibility for movement to be enabled for a significant portion of a buildings superstructure. Mr. Chernikhov of 19th century was the first constructive architects and graphic designers. And he was Greatly interested in futurist movements and made many form of moving architecture such as the DRAWBRIDGE can be traced in that period.
  • 4. MOBILITY OF ARCHITECTURE HISTORY The Millennium Stadium was one of the first European stadiums to have a sliding roof, The first is for functional buildings such as bridges which can elevate their mid- sections to allow tall ships to pass. The bird-like Burke Brise soleil at the Milwaukee Art Museum having Transformer style changes of shape or appearance. It is a well regarded example of this, and it also has a functional aspect in that its movement allows it to shade the crowds from the sun or protect them from storms.
  • 5. MOBILITY OF HOUSE HISTORY In the many country, in ninety's, movement of house in early years done by cars and motorized highway travel. It was derived from the Travel trailers and caravans which may be little more than a tent on wheels to those containing several rooms. They are used principally in Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand and are rare elsewhere. This techniques done for peoples whose lifestyle required mobility.
  • 6. MOBILITY OF HOUSE  MOBILE HOUSE is picking the house up from its foundation and setting it down in another spot.  In this process, homes were designed in rectangular shape, somehow inexpensive and made from pre-painted aluminum panels. Such units could be moved simply with a car or professional trucks by the special moving permit from a state highway department.  Before this steps,we have to know the following information correctly:  The width, length and height of your home and  How the house was built, which will help to determine how much the home might weigh.
  • 7. MOBILITY OF HOUSE  PREPARATION AND INSTALLATION:  To prepare the house for a move, all the utilities must be disconnected, which may require the services of a plumber or an electrician.  House movers need at least 10 feet of room around the house for excavation, so dig out any trees that you don't want bulldozed. The mover will dig down around the foundation and cut openings in the foundation walls.  Moving is done by unified hydraulic jacking system which allows the home to remain level in process of carrying.  When the house arrives in new location, it's foundation is poured. After that house has the same structural integrity as when the process started.
  • 8. MOBILITY OF HOUSE Construction starts with the frame wall assemblies and set in places Home is ready for delivery to site

MOVABLE TOILET  The mobile toilet trailers, manufactured for deployed in fairs, rallies, outdoor functions and events, where there are no permanent toilets.  The moving toilet trailers can be moved from one place to another. These are easy to maintain and have all the requisite facilities.  Portable toilets are self contained toilets that do not require plumbing hook-ups. They are commonly used in campers, in campgrounds and in simple outback cabins.
  • 19. MOVABLE TOILET  ADVANTAGE: (1)Saving water: Up to 99% comparing with general water flushing toilets. (2)No stink: The toilet is clean, hygienic and resistant to the spread of germs. (3)Resisting freeze and high temperature. (4)No noise pollution.  How Portable Toilets Works A portable toilet is used in a similar way as a conventional house toilet is used. The toilet flushes after use and carries waste away. The waste is carried to the holding tank. Inside the holding tank are chemicals that deodorize waste and break down solid waste and toilet paper.  MAINT ; Before a portable toilet is used, chemicals and water must be added to the holding tank. When the movable toilet is no longer being used or when the toilet is full, it must be emptied in dump station.
  • 20. ROTATING TOWER  One of the Dynamically moving modern Buildings are known as ROTATING TOWER having movement to life.  It is in Dubai of 80-floor skyscraper made by architects Davis Fisher marks the first continuously moving construction in world.  Each floor will rotate a maximum of 6 metres per minute, or one full rotation in 90 minutes.  90 percent of the building will be prefabricated and assembled on a central core.  Considering that each floor of the tower consists of factory-made modules.  ADVANTAGE It has been calculated that up to 20% cost savings compared to those of traditional building methods by assemblage (rather than construction),and time-saving, well-organized sequences feathers.
  • 21. ROTATING TOWER  This rotating tower , which will be constantly in motion changing its shape, will be able to generate electric energy for itself as well as for other buildings. Having wind turbines fitted between each rotating floors as well as the solar panels will produce energy from wind and the sunlight, with no risk of pollution.  it will be possible to customize individual apartments according to owners' needs and style.  These buildings will be a green power plant, and will therefore change the skyline of cities not only due to their Dynamic Shape, but mainly as they may finally help us to enjoy nature, and to see the sun through clean air.
