Using both science and magic, I advocate for the user while pumping up conversions, pageviews, and I dunno, kittens maybe, for a user-generated media website (that you should definitely be using and playing around with, natch). I make math pretty. I say things like "metrics" and "user flows" a lot in meetings. When I'm not charming the pants off my users (professionally, obvs), I bribe my team to work on prioritized features and optimizations with candy and conversation, aka agile project management or whatever.
