criticism might be hard to take, but try to be receptive to it. Make sure your workers know they can 
come to you with any feedback they might have. Point of views that differ from your own are 
valuable. 
The way you use humor in the presence of others can influence their perceptions of your leadership 
abilities. For example, you may find that constant self-deprecation has an unfavorable effect on 
others' respect for your power. Frequent use of this type of humor communicates immaturity and an 
inability to be serious.
