• One of the significant differences between spoken and
written discourse is the fact that speaking doesn’t
automatically split itself up into neat sentences.

• The first aim of materials to teach speaking skill based on
the raise awareness of this feature of speech.

• The second aim of materials to teach speaking skill is to
help the learners understand that effective speaking skill
based on a collaboration between language users
-principles
materials to teach the skill of speaking therefore, need to
find a balance between several competing demands which
include:
individual speakers’ affective needs in private and
unpredictable discourse contexts

Informal day-to-day encounters

Public or formal uses of spoken discourse such as
presentation etc.
(Levelt, 1993)
-principles

communication should be seen as a process than products
( Nunan, 1989)

• Subjective needs: speaking proficiency, language
  awareness etc.
• Objective needs: emotion of speaking, interests of
  speaking.

is “greenhouse?” the reason how to
                                              slove the
                                            why
                                         greenhous problems
                                         e appear? in what
                                                                    way?

Now, work with your partners,
choose the topics below, talking
in the way like the example how far do
                                                                        any wider
above. you know
                                                                        issues to
                                   greenhous
                                                                        refer to ?
A:Industrial pollution e?
                                                       what is
B:traffic problems your
                                                       original
C: technique evaluation opinion on
                                                     greenhous
                                                          e?
The chart shows the way how you build
your idea relevant. In your daily life try to
think the way like that especially when you
        talking with someone on academic
        questions.
