1. ANIMALS IN WAR
by Years 5 & 6
In Term 4 we tried an experiment: Years 3 & 4 were doing a project about
how animals have been used in war time, and Years 5 & 6 had just
finished a Digital Demons unit of work on learning to search the internet
more effectively. So they helped the younger students with their search
by using Thinking Tools (T or Y charts, concept maps, Thinkers’ Keys,
Sunshine Wheels) to summarise the information that they’d found and
then photographed their work using iPads, for upload to our wiki. They
only had four weeks to do it, so these are only first drafts.
