I upgraded from windows vista to 7 and lost my snipping tool. Search the internet on how to get it back and there is nowhere to download it. Windows snipping tool is very useful in getting screen captures. There are different ways to get your snipping tool working on windows 7. Find you snipping tool enable your snipping tool and run your snipping tool. Windows 7 snipping tool everything you need to know how to install it on your computer

4. In Windows Features check to see if
Tablet PC components is checked off

5. STEP 1 Go to Start Menu

6. STEP 2 Select Control Panel

7. STEP 3 Select Programs

8. STEP 4-5 Select Turn Windows
feature on or off

9. STEP 6 Pop Up window opens

10. STEP 7 Scroll down to Tablet PC
Components

11. STEP 8 Check it off

12. STEP 9 Click Okay

13. STEP 10 Reboot

14. Open your Accessories in the
Programs menu

15. Select the Tablet PC folder

16. If its empty you can install it
manually

17. Open window run again

18. In the search programs and files
box enter snipping tool

19. Type ‘snipping tool’

20. You should see it show up under
programs

21. Still don’t see it?????

22. Its on you system in the system
directory

23. Open windows explorer. Right
Click the start Button

24. Navigate to C: Windows Folder

25. You should see this popup. Select
windows explorer.

26. Select System32 Folder

27. Scroll down to the snipping tool

28. This is the snipping tool program

29. You can drag it to you start menu
or create a shortcut

C:WindowsSystem32SnippingTool.exe

31. Now you can run it. Ctrl+PrtScrn
will pop it up
