This presentation was prepared to introduce the attendants of BICSI Dubai 2014 to the TETRA Digital trunking technology, having considered that an important part of the audience were not familiar with the subject.
It starts with the history of two ways communications, and the evolution of the customer requirements and the technology.
There is a brief comparison between TETRA and GSM, given the fact that everybody is used to the digital telephony services, and many of the TETRA users are familiar with just a part of the services offered by that technology.
The last part focuses on a real case of use, where TETRA was the only technology that could comply with the demanding requirements of the customer (security, reliability, nationwide solution, data).
I wish you will enjoy it!.
Regards
Luis Jose Gil
