3. Pittsburgh was once known for the multiple steel mills in the city. Life in the city revolved around the mills, which led to the city earning the name, the Steel City. Even years after the majority of the mills have shut down people still refer to it as a steel town; the sense of culture still remains.

7. Logo The logo is effective because it reflects the city and the music industry. The category of the logo is pictorial. It shows the skyline of the city. The logo reflects the brand by showcasing a guitar amp and the skyline of Pittsburgh.
8. Logo The competitor logo is Fueled by Ramen. Fueled by Ramen is a record label based in NYC. The company’s clientele is similar to that of my company. The logo is conveys the concept that their main priority is promoting the records.
9. Logo Glamour Kills, a clothing company, uses an inspirational logo depicting a flying pig. This simple design represents the belief that anything is possible, taking the expression “when pigs fly” and pushing yourself beyond.
10. Corporate Culture The company is built upon family values. The employees and the musicians will be expected to uphold these values and treat each other with respect. Steel Town Records encourages creative freedom.

12. Company Culture The company will be located in the South Side neighborhood of Pittsburgh, near the South Side Works. The South Side Works neighborhood is located near the business end of Carson Street. A lot of businesses are located in this vicinity such as American Eagle Headquarters. The company will have a relaxed working environment. The company headquarters' office will feature a lounge/game room where employees can retreat to seek creative inspiration, or simply just blow some steam.
13. Mission Statement Steel Town Records, we strive to provide an innovative outlet for our creative musicians to share their talent.
14. Mission Statement The statement will be viewed on the website and in the handbook. It is directed to both the employee and the client. It is different and unique because it states the objectives of the company clearly.
16. Tagline The tagline is effective because it combines important concepts that the company is trying to convey. It speaks to the clients saying that they can be from a small town but achieve everything that someone from a big city can achieve. The tagline is descriptive.
17. Tagline The message is reinforced through the tagline by stating that the company gives the clients all the benefits of a big city record label in the small town. It is different from the competitors because it showcases the city Pittsburgh in the line. The tagline is unique and to the point.
