24. Harley Davidson's recently unveiling of two dark custom
motorcycles street 750 and street 500 starting an estimated
4.5L may be just the beginning of a bid to reach deeper into
India.
On Feb. 2014 they are trying to launch the street 750.
The iconic motorcycle maker wants to make and sell these
smaller engine bikes with extensive local involvement to bring
prices down.
It’s being developed with extensive involvement with Indian
component makers, using a large % of locally sourced parts to
control costs.

Since early 2011, Harley Davidson has been
assembling motor cycles in India at its CKD assembly
unit BAWAL in HARYANA.
