11. ๏Minor configuration differences consisted of:
๏(i) appearance or disappearanceof a notch;
๏(ii) appearance or disappearance of a Q, Ror S-wave that was <50%
of the peak to peak QRS amplitude;
๏(iii)a change <25% but >50% in the ratio of the amplitude of the
individual component to the total QRS amplitude
Major configuration differences consisted of the following:
๏(i)appearance or disappearance of a component that was >50% of
theQRS amplitude;
๏(ii) difference in the amplitude of a component of the QRS complex
>50% of the total QRS amplitude; and
๏(iii) two or more minor configuration differences
12. Other changes that are significant are
๏Change in axis < 45
๏Increase in QRS duration > 10ms
Changes that are less likely and suggestive of ventricular origin
are
1. Change in axis > 45
2. Complete appearance of new BBB
3. Decrease in QRS duration
