2. Introduction
 Dr. Mandeep “Manny” Ghumman serves as president
of HealthyPets, Inc., a diversified retail,
manufacturing, and distribution company based in
Union City, California. Outside of his professional
pursuits, Dr. Mandeep Ghumman supports the work of
several organizations, including the Humane Society
Silicon Valley (HSSV).
To support its pet services and public education
programs, HSSV conducts a variety of fundraising
activities throughout the year. Currently, the
organization is preparing to host its annual Walk ‘n
Wag event, which will take place Saturday, October 3,
2015, at Hellyer County Park in San Jose.

3. 2015 Walk ‘n Wag in October
 Participants in the 5K run/walk will help HSSV
in its goal of raising $300,000 during the event.
The top individual and team fundraisers will be
awarded with a variety of incentives and
prizes, including a Kindle Fire, gift cards, and a
ZUCA dog carrier.
In addition to the 5K run/walk, the Wag ‘n Walk
event will include a festival featuring food and
drink vendors, shopping opportunities, and
crafting activities for kids.
