2. Seasons and Months
There are four seasons and twelve months in a
year.
The seasons are: spring, summer, autumn
and winter.
The months are: january, february, march,
april, may, june, july, august, september,
october, november and december.
Each season has three months.
3. SPRING
March, April and May
are spring months. At the
bigining of spring it is cool
and at the end it is warm.
The snow smelts. The
nature wakes up. The
trees are green. “April
showers bring May
Flowers.”

The world looks new and gay.
4. SUMMER
After spring coms summer.
June, July and August are
summer months. Summer is
the hottest season of the year.
In the middle of summer the
days are very hot. The sun
shines bright.

The flowers are blooming,
The sky is blue,
Th rains are few.
5. AUTUMN
After summer coms autumn.
September, October and November
are autumn months. In autumn there
is plenty of fruit. All leaves turn red,
yellow, brown and they fall off the
trees. It gets cooler and then colder.
The sky is often cloudly. The wind
blows. It often rains. Autumn is a rainy
season.

6. WINTER
Winter, winter, winter!
The wind is blowing,
The ground is white,
All day and all night
Winter is the fourth season of
the year. December, January and
February are winter months. In
winter it is cold. It snows. The
weather is frosty. Winter is the
coldest season of the year. The
ground is covered with snow.
