These slides were used for a performance after my statistics lecture at Bremen University, Germany. The performance was meant to be a 'Thank You' for the students who expressed their appreciation for the course in an evaluation which finally led to Dr. Lisa Lüdders and me receiving the Berninghausen-Best Teaching Award in 2013.
The song is a cover and available under XXX. The fabulous original version of 'The Model I Love' was written and performed by Gurdeep Stephens and Prof. Michael Greenacre and is available under: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2KLrnYAyeQ

The Model I Love - Lyrics (performed at Bremen University, Germany, June, 2013)
1. 4
The model I love
Text by Michael Greenacre
Performance by Lisa Lüdders
Music by Mark Heckmann
2. Some day it'll come along
The model I love,
It'll be robust and strong
The model I love,
And when it comes my way
I'll put it on my resumé!
So hear me, Lord above,
I‘m waiting for that model I love,
So hear me, Lord above,
I‘m waiting for that model I love,
Still waiting for the model I love

3. Of all the models out there,
Is there one for me?
I’ll give it all my love and care,
Mathematically,
And then finally,
I‘ll get my PhD.
So hear me, Lord above,
I‘m waiting for that model I love,
So hear me, Lord above,
I‘m waiting for that model I love,
Still waiting for the model I love

4. Maybe I'll do estimation
Using likelihood, or least-squares,
Or with some approximation,
Or just eyeballin‘,
That's the job we're all in,
the job we’re all in
So hear me, Lord above,
I‘m waiting for that model I love,
So hear me, Lord above,
I‘m waiting for that model I love,
Still waiting for the model I love

5. To get some publications,
I'll write papers, at least two,
For my job applications,
I think that'll do, don't you?
So hear me, Lord above,
I‘m waiting for that model I love,
So hear me, Lord above,
I‘m waiting for that model I love,
And I’m waiting, I’m still waiting
And I’m waiting, still waiting
Still waiting for the model I love.
