Voki is a web tool that allows users to create talking animated characters called Vokis to express themselves online. Users can customize the appearance and voice of their Voki character, choosing from a variety of options for its look, background, accent, and recorded or typed text. 7. Making your Voki talk Your next step is to give your Voki a voice! There are 4 options in the ‘Give It A Voice’ box for making your Voki talk. These are: Calling from your mobile phone (for US & Canadian users only) Record your speech using a microphone connected to your computer. Type the text you would like your Voki to speak and customise the gender, accent and sound effects as necessary for your particular character. You will be using this option in today’s tutorial. Open a sound file (a pre-recorded speech or music) on your computer. Please Note: Each options is limited to 60 seconds of speech.
