  1. È indispensabile uno spazio in cui le persone possano FARE il gioco
  2. Un gioco deve avere dei confini e dei limiti, nel tempo e nello spazio
  3. Servono delle regole – una strategia – senza regole non puoi raggiungere un obiettivo, senza regole non saprai tirare le somme dal gioco e non potrai capire se hai vinto…
  4. Le pedine, in questo caso. Molti giochi prevedono manufatti, oggetti funzionali allo svolgimento del gioco e dunque necessari per «ottenere» informazioni.
  5. Scacco matto. I giocatori devono sapere qual è il momento del GAME OVER, ed è anch’esso funzionale allo svolgimento e al TERMINE del gioco.
