Leadership is
like a lid or a
ceiling on your
organization.
To reach the highest
level of effectiveness,
you have to raise your
leadership lid.
Business growth
depends on the
extent the leadership
allows it to grow.
Leadership has
a multiplying
effect.
Law of Influence
Positional leadership
especially does not
work in voluntary
organizations.
Leadership is simply
about influencing
people. Cannot be
mandated. It must be
earned.
The very essence
of all power to
influence lies in
getting the other
person to
participate.
As soon as they
no longer believe
you can deliver,
they will stop
following.

them and then adapt to who they

  • 2. Law of the Lid Leadership is like a lid or a ceiling on your organization. To reach the highest level of effectiveness, you have to raise your leadership lid. Business growth depends on the extent the leadership allows it to grow. Leadership has a multiplying effect.
  • 3. Law of Influence Positional leadership especially does not work in voluntary organizations. Leadership is simply about influencing people. Cannot be mandated. It must be earned. The very essence of all power to influence lies in getting the other person to participate. As soon as they no longer believe you can deliver, they will stop following.

  • 11. Law of Connection “ leaders touch a heart before they ask for a hand” To truly connect with people you have to value them learn about them and then adapt to who they are. Change yourself in order to invite them. “you develop credibility with people when you connect with them and show that you genuinely care and want to help them”

Law of the Inner Circle “ a leader’s connection is determined by those closest to him” We must surround ourselves continually with people we admire and respect Potential for growth is stunted when we keep weaker people than ourselves with us“ you show me your friends and I’ll show you your future.”
