Pricing & Profitability
How much does MetaVis cost? MetaVis solutions are sold predominately as software suites and depending upon which suite is chose
the pricing can be based the amount of content under management (GB/TB), number of MetaVis Users and/or number of Office365
users. In the case of the MS SMS&P program, we will be offering two cost models exclusive to the partner network and designed with the
1 to 300 user market segment in mind.
How much should I charge? MetaVis will cost between $2-5K per client. You should also estimate via Time and materials if the client
wants to move customizations, branding, look and feel, custom code, web parts, workflows, etc. that may add significantly to the time
required to remediate in a new version of SharePoint. MetaVis recommends that you only promise move the information architecture,
content and metadata, security. Our pre-migration assessment tool can help point out potential issues
How much time does a typical migration take? Estimate anywhere between 300MB to 6GB per hour per MetaVis thread. Times vary
dramatically based upon the health of the source server, network latency and number of threads you can run without overwhelming
source and target servers. You can use our live incremental migration feature to move in waves which is the preferred method and
doesn’t require you cutover to you are ready.
What about selling your other solutions? MetaVis would like to make all of our solutions available to the partner network and we
address the cost/margin model in our Partner Agreement document. However the pricing for Office 365 cloud on-boarding is exclusive to
the SMS&P market and only offered through partners.
What about our larger prospects? MetaVis solutions easily scale and we have many, many enterprise class customers. Our Largest
customers manage in excess of 50Tb and over 30K site collections. If your practice sells to this audience, we are happy to work with
you in representing our solutions to them as well.
