Will you bring your 5+ years of engineering experience to the centre of the Wind
Turbine Valley in Denmark and be located in the 2’nd biggest city, Aarhus?
R&D A/S is an engineering company with a special focus on system solutions
and engineering R&D projects for the Wind Turbine Industry. We service a long
list of key customers, whereof several are active setting the agenda in both
Danish and international industry. Our staff of 85+ engineers find their drive in the
development of innovative solutions in close cooperation with both customer and
colleagues.
Use your experience and technical insight in interdisciplinary projects
We are experiencing a growing demand for our skills and services, and therefore
we are searching for several (10 or more) engineers for projects within the fields
of Mechanical, Electrical and Software Development. You will get the
opportunity to work with demanding and technically challenging development
projects in cooperation with both customers and your colleagues at R&D.
You could have experience from the wind turbine industry with:
• Structural design
• Gearboxes
• Covers
• Hub and Drive Train Parts
• Lubrication, Cooling and Hydraulic Systems
• Blade Design
• Switch gear
• Converter
• Generator
• Loads and Controls (LAC)
• Test
• Software – Control Systems

Experience
You have a technical university degree on B.Sc, M.Sc. or
Ph.D level and experience preferably from the wind turbine
industry but experience from aerospace or oil and gas
industry is also relevant.
As a person you enjoy individual work assignments, but you
still have the capacity to be part of a team.
We expect that you:
- Have a good understanding of complex interacting
mechanical, electrical and SW systems.
- Have knowledge of the standards, requirements and
regulations within the mentioned fields.
- Are an experienced user of relevant programs for your field:
3D-CAD, FEA, MATLAB, Simulink, C, C++, C#, LabVIEW,
GUI etc.
- Are familiar with project management of smaller technical
projects.
- Have experience with the elaboration of documentation for
3rd party controls and the management of the verification
process.
- Have experience with design processes and project
execution, hereunder the elaboration of design bases and
their subsequent completion.
- Are good at communicating technical issues with a
constructive and solution-oriented approach.
- Are fluent in written and oral English
