2. Equipment we used.
• We used a range of equipment and this was because we wanted our film to become as good as it can get.
Without certain things such as the camera and tripod our film may not have be as good as it should of
been.
Equipment Reasons for use
Camera- We used a Cannon to gain the best quality for our film. Without good
quality our film could not receive a high mark. There are also several
settings that can be used on the Cannon and other cameras may not
have them features. These settings aloud us to record when the sun
was shinning or when it went over cloudy.
Microphone- We used a microphone for our voiceover and the digetic sounds within
our film opening. We could record the voiceover with our phones or
other equipment but the quality was not good. This microphone
allowed us to be able to increase the voiceover potential.
Tripod- we used a tripod to make sure that our footage was still and not
moving. This ensured that our footage was the best quality. Without
the tripod our film could have been very hard to film because of the
shots we done. This piece of equipment was a huge help to record our
film opening.
Computer- The computer helped us to be to edit. Without a machine we would
not be able to edit as the computer was designed for editing.
3. Software.
Software Reasons for use
Adobe Premier Pro We used this software to help us edit
our film. This software allowed us to
add effects, cut certain pieces and
add different music. Without such a
simple program like Adobe Premier
pro we may have struggled alot
more.
4. Overall conclusion of what I have learnt about the technology I have used in
our film.
• Before we started our filming and editing I did not have a clue about how to edit
or how to film. I did not know alot about the different shots film makers used to
either create affect or gain tension within the scene. This is something that I
learnt and I notice is alot more when watching different films. Furthermore I also
learnt alot about how to edit. I knew the basics such as how to cut or trim things.
However I didn't know how to add effects or to change the contrast within the
selected clip. This is something that I learnt and made our film better than we
thought it would be.
