What are non-repellent pesticides?
 Non-repellents pesticides are based on a type of chemistry which in
general terms is designed to directly interact with the target pest.
 The technology is developed considering biological, ecological and
behavioural variables. Key factors:
 Not designed to repell or exclude
 Found across a range of pesticide classes
 Delayed mode of action
 Provide a long term solution, not a short term fix.
 They are not SPs or combinations products (SP + non-repellent).

 Using a non-repellent package is novel, as the pest control industry
has not been getting the best out of previously available chemistries.

Rotation, resistance, residual – a full
management system
 The most effective non-repellent chemistries are non-repellent to the
individual pest and the population.
 The products are designed not to interfere with a pests normal behavior.
 They can be used in true IPM strategy (non-chemical / pesticide control).

ingesting or being exposed to sub lethal doses.
