Quran considers homosexuality as sinful
and unnatural. It believes such behavior
should not be desired by men and it
does not even acknowledge lesbianism.
• Hinduism was open to various ideas of
sexuality in the medieval times. But the
Manuscript does not accept
homosexuality.

shameful lusts. Even their women
exchanged natural relations for unnatural
ones. In the same way the
men also abandoned natural relations
with women and were inflamed with lust

Homosexuality
• 49% say that homosexual relations between
consenting adults should be illegal.
• 44% would not permit their child to read a book
with a story about a same-sex couple.
• 61% say that homosexual marriages should
not be legal.
• 42% oppose civil unions for homosexuals.
• 47% believe that gay spouses should not have
the right to adopt children.
