This document provides guidance for a media experiments assignment. Students are instructed to experiment with at least 5 different materials, including those used for observational work, and to annotate their work explaining the materials used, likes/dislikes, and how it relates to their project. A long list of potential materials is given, ranging from pencils and paints to digital tools like Photoshop. Example boards demonstrate techniques like tonal drawing, mixed media, etching, monoprinting, and more. Students are told to title their boards "Media Experiments" or with the specific media name.
