John I’m so glad I studied for this test. I did much better than last time.
Juanita I’m not surprised. I never do well on tests.
Marcos Oh, oh, I really should have studied. I did well last time, I thought I didn’t need to study.
Marta What? There is no way I could fail! I’m too smart.
Marcos: Maybe you should have studied? Marta: I NEVER study, and I still get A’s. You either know it, or you don’t. Marcos: I don’t agree. I do much better on tests when I study for them.
John: Maybe you should have studied? Juanita: What difference does it make? You either know something, or you don’t. Your just smarter! John: No I’m not! I flunked the last test. The only difference this time was I worked harder.
Studying makes a difference. Working makes a difference.
