The self-esteem and is not a static process is a continuous process. Every
day we are building it in our family, in our job, in our community. All the people
builds their personal image are self -esteem, since their childhood to their old
age. Those process or terms, personal image and self -esteem, are closely
related.
When we were children we wanted to be the strongest, tallest or oldest. If
we had some of these characteristics, we felt the best and our self steem grows
up. But, if we had not any one of those characteristics, we were sad and our self
steem or personal image would be affected.
Our community, family and friends, have positive or negative opinions about
what we are. Those opinions affect and influence our self -esteem. If we are not
preparing, the social environment can destroy our good self steem. It is
necessary a good physical and psychological environment to grow up well

We need a strong self image to face the daily problems that are inevitable,
without affect our self esteem. In each problem solve our self esteem increase
and improve. The process is permanent because the life it is. If today we have
high self esteem, we are not sure what about the tomorrow; it could be low.
2. Although the bases are since our childhood, there are some factors that might
change our self esteem producing those ups and downs in the self steem.
In conclusion, the self esteem is related with the self image. The self
image is related with the opinions of the friends, family and community. Although
that those opinions affect us, is also truth that we have an intern courage to face
it, it means, to face those opinions. Each day we prove our self esteem.
