10. Grande Parco Forlanini
1st Teaching Module
The students were in direct contact with the different actors since the
beginning of the course.
The students had several occasions to interact with the different
stakeholders and present their work along the whole process.
The outputs of the teaching module were useful to sustain the
“Grande Forlanini Association” in its work.
The projects were devices able to catalyze the discussion and to
accelerate the actions on the park.
The legacy of the teaching module is the continuation of the process
with other educational activities. Six students are still involved in the
development of projects that sustain the existing associations in their
work.
15. Rubattino
2nd Teaching Module
The absence of active communities in the area was the occasion to
develop community traps, aimed to attract and activate collective
action on the area.
The students had some opportunities to get in touch with public
institutions along the course, while already testing the some
“community traps” ideas with them.
The interplay with key stakeholders helped the student in developing
their work towards a shared understanding of the issues.
The early outputs of the teaching module were able to focus the
attention of different public servants from bordering City Councils
(Milano and Segrate) on the area, which was slightly considered.
