1 • Promote the adoption of a global Charter detailing companies’ accountabilities towards future
generations
2 • Finance the transition to a positive economy throughout the creation of a Global Fund for a positive
economy
3 • Favor investment measures related to positive projects on the European Commission’s agenda
4 • Actively prepare the COP 21 conference for the positive economy to be a response to climate issues

5. HELP COMPANIES BE POSITIVE PLAYERS IN THE WORLD ECONOMY
SOME PROPOSALS:
5 • Legally enshrine the fact that companies should also contribute to general interest and thus be positive
France could pave the way by amending the definition of companies in its civil code
6 • Reform company governance to give equal power to the different stakeholders and give long term
shareholders more weight
7 • Impose companies to display information on the positivity of their products on their packaging to
enlighten consumers on their choices

SOME PROPOSALS:
8 • Favor savings and investments that are allocated to positive activities
In France, the “livret de développement durable” (savings for sustainable development) should be
reallocated to positive investments, since its name does not fit its use.
9 • Integrate positive criteria into public purchase
10 • Expand the concept of extended producer’s responsibility to other issues than just recycling
Work with international institutions (EU, OECD) to inspire other States to implement such measures
