1. Hey Fashionistas! Emma Stone appears on the August issue of Vanity Fair, and not only
does the 22-year-old actress show off her amazing figure in this pin-up style cover shot, but
she comes across as cute and charming in her interview!
Stone admits that she was nervous about her bikini shoot, joking with the magazine, as for the
pressure in Hollywood to stay thin, the starlet says, “I’m definitely more conscious of it as
I’ve gotten older,” but she has not succumbed to extreme weight loss measures. “That diet,
have you seen it?” Stone asks of Tracy Anderson’s workout and meal plan. “It’s like: Eat this
diet, which is a palm-size piece of chicken and some beans, and work out two hours a day for
the rest of your life.”
With films like The Help, Friends with Benefits, and Crazy, Stupid, Love all in theaters this
summer, Stone has risen to the top of young Hollywood’s list of it girls. She recalls a recent
encounter with a ballsy paparazzi photographer, and how she handled his pushy attempt to
snap exclusive photos of her. “He stands up while I’m walking to my car and is like, ‘Hey,
Emma! Listen, I’m going to delete these pics. Here’s my card,” she says. “‘If you ever go to
2. the beach with your friends or walk out of your house in your pajamas, call me.’” Stone,
confused, refused his card. “He’s like, ‘But I’m deleting these pictures, see?’ … These guys
try to strike up a deal with you so you feel like they’re your friend. I didn’t even know that
was a thing — that people would call them.” Looks like she’s going to have to get used to
this, because once Spider-Man comes out, she’s not going to be able to go to the grocery
store without being followed around town!
Emma is also featured on the July issue of Elle Magazine, and the Easy A actress (and MTV
Movie Award winner!) rocks a stunning Versace dress for her main photo, and she’s styled in
a series of polka dot ensembles for the rest of her shoot. She even makes a pair of pleather
overalls look hot!
3. Before her breakout role in Superbad, Stone reveals that she dropped out of high school and
moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of acting, enrolling in online classes and working
part-time at a dog bakery. “I think three people called my specific cookies inedible to their
dogs,” Stone said with a laugh. “I’m not a super-talented dog baker.” Still, Stone insists she
has no regrets. “I did Superbad in what would’ve been my senior year,” she says. “I was
playing a senior, and had I graduated I would’ve missed that opportunity, and had I missed
that opportunity I wouldn’t be here right now.”
4. Now, there’s a rumor going around that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are together. A
source tells Us Weekly, “They got close during filming of Sand have been hooking up,”
adding that they’re trying to keep things quiet. “They haven’t gone public, but he’s told his
friends,” the insider added.
5. Andrew just split with actress Shannon Woodward after three years together, and Emma
recently ended her relationship with boyfriend Kieran Culkin, so this isn’t a total shock, but
still! We kinda want to see pictures before we’re ready to believe this one.
