SEQUENCE OF OPERATION
Smoke Detectors (Zone-1) and Pressure Switch
(Zone-2) Monitoring the System Air Pressure in
the piping are wired in a cross zoned
configuration
17. Activation of smoke detector or operation
of a sprinkler causes following.
• A visual indication on the System Control
Panel
• Audible alarm from bell
• Send “Fire” indication to the Fire Alarm

• Deluge valve operates
• Water flows in to the system piping and
discharges through the ‘opened’ sprinkler.

• System can be operated manually by operating the
Pull Station (Electric or Hydraulic)

• Deluge valve operates
• Water flows in to the system piping (if sprinkler is
not activated, piping will be filled with water)
