Snapdeal YamDude Campaign 2012
Snapdeal had launched an interesting campaign called YamDude (the deal that even god of death Yama
can’t resist, from Snapdeal) by using SocialAppsHQ’s Photo Contest App on Facebook. The campaign
with a character called ‘YamDude’ kept reminding everyone that ‘Everyone lives only once and hence
they should use Snapdeal to get these one in a lifetime kind of offers’.
In this campaign, the fans were suppose to avail a deal from Snapdeal, submit their photo with
redeeming the deal/ product and get it voted.

SnapDeal leveraged their main page and 32 regional pages to advertise this campaign heavily. With the

impressions! This helped make SnapDeal YamDude campaign a memorable household name in India.
