And all praises are for Allah.” Offering special prayers in congregations Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: “The Prophet went out and offered a two Rakat prayer on the Day of Eid ul Fitr …” [ Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 15, Number 104 ] (Peace be upon him) (May Allah be pleased with him) Dressing up in the best clothes Narrated Jabir said: “The Prophet had a Jubbah (long cloak) that he would wear on Eid and on Fridays.” Al-Bayhaqi reported that Ibn Umar used to wear his best clothes on Eid.
